Types of Industrial Scales

In research, manufacturing and agriculture, there is a need for industrial scales. Brightscale has the products that can satisfy the needs of these industries. Whether it involves liquid chemicals, food supplies, livestock, gravel or electronic and machined parts, the products need to be formulated, processed, counted, treated, packaged and shipped. Without industrial scales, none of this would be possible. And as each process is unique, scales need to be different to make each task possible.

In laboratory research work, the measuring of minute amounts of ingredients may require the use of a bench scale. A standard industrial bench scale by Brightscale provides accuracy at a level of one-tenth of one percent, while its ultra-precision scales have an amazing one-hundredth of one percent accuracy. Brightscale bench scales are also capable of providing output signals that can be used by other equipment as part of the manufacturing process, for batching purposes or to turn off pumps, valves or other mechanical devices.

Parts counting scales provide a precise method for determining the number of parts to be used in electronics or machinery. State of the art units by Brightscale are an excellent tool for saving time and have precision counting ability. Their "Quick Count" mode lets the operator easily count parts without confusing menu functions, and also makes it possible to store the weight amounts of as many as 100 different items. They are also extremely accurate, providing a very precise internal resolution, and can be used to weigh objects that weigh as little as .0001 pounds. The scales have no moving parts and, with automatic calibration, require no set up.
Industrial crane scales have high capacity and are ideal for lifting, force management and other weighing applications. They are constructed with an integral stainless steel load cell encased within high impact and high visibility solid red polyurethane and aircraft-grade aluminum housing, and feature a digital indicator with inch-high graphics for easy viewing.

Brightscale also has a wide variety of platform scales that match the size of whatever needs to be weighed.  As loads become larger and more difficult to handle, low profile scales are particularly useful. Platform scales by Brightscale offer the features of its other units but also have much larger weight capacities, while those used to weigh livestock are designed for easy access by the animals.

These scales are available with a number of options, including Ethernet connectivity and RS-232, RS-485 or USB ports with free Windows based software, printers, rechargeable battery packs, set point controllers and up to eight relays. Through a combination of excellent engineering and an efficient manufacturing process, Brightscale offers an outstanding feature-to-price ratio. Equally innovative is its direct marketing sales program, which eliminates the middle tiers of dealers and distribution that can increase costs.
