If your model needs to be rugged, make sure the display has a welded frame like the platform. Additionally, epoxy exterior coating allows the scale to be both more durable and water resistant. Chances are that if you’re looking for an industrial drum scale, you will be using it in areas that may get wet.
Prices for industrial drum scales vary, but they do not usually start under $1000. Obtaining one with all the best features (described above), that will provide the longevity you’re looking for in an expensive piece of equipment, might be hard if you don’t know where to look. Consider getting a highly rated model directly from the manufacturer, so you can save money because of those factory direct prices.
