Cylinder Scales: Low Profile and Easy Loading

Industrial Cylinder Scales have a number of important characteristics, including the platform height, platform capacity, accuracy, durability and cost. Generally, any of the first four may be improved, but only be increasing the cost. Platform Height – Moving cylinders onto and off of the scale platform is the most difficult part of using a Cylinder Scale. Our scale offer an unusually low height of only 1 3/8”. This makes the job much easier.
Platform Capacity – Standard capacities range up to 400 lb, which tend to be quite expensive from other manufacturers. Additionally, capacities of up to 500 lb are offered in the large ultra precision scales.
Accuracy – Leading edge electronics coupled with specialized alloy stainless steel load cells result in Cylinder Scales with high levels of accuracy and repeatability. For especially challenging applications, the Ultra Precision Cylinder Scales provide ten to twenty times the accuracy level of any other scale offered.
Durability – For superior durability, these scales incorporate machined metal housings and stainless steel platforms. Most Cylinder Scales use aluminum load cells that may be easily damaged. On these scales, the extra wide load cells use special heat treated stainless steel. They are better at protecting the scale from severe abuse as cylinders and tanks are loaded, and will hold up better to moisture.
