Portable Industrial Scale is mostly used for industrial and commercial purposes. Because of the huge range of different kinds of industrial processes that exist, there must also be a wide range of different types of Portable Industrial Scale. Depending on the accuracy that is required, the lab scale may be an inexpensive bench top device, or an extremely precise laboratory instrument that comes with shields to avoid air movement and its own protective housing. Larger batches of materials, up to about 100 lb, call for bench scales. Once again, different situations will call for different accuracies. Whereas the standard industrial bench scale provides excellent accuracy levels of 1/10 of 1%, ultra precision scales provide amazing accuracy levels of 1/100 of 1% or greater.
