• Animal Friendly – Alpacas are generally not comfortable stepping up onto a platform scales. This is particularly the case with crias, the baby animals. These Livestock Scales feature an extremely low profile, making it easy to lead the animal onto the platform. A rubber mat provides additional comfort. Additionally, the mat may be easily hosed down, when necessary.
  
  
• Platform Size and Capacity– The Alpaca Scale platform can accommodate most alpacas very comfortably. The larger Llama Scale will handle even the very largest animal. The weight capacity is 500 lb, which is more than is required.
  
  
• Accuracy – Leading edge electronics coupled with specialized alloy stainless steel load cells result in platform scales with high levels of accuracy and repeatability.
